Partnering with Parents
Each week the teacher will send home a “Today I Learned”…sheet informing the parent of the day’s lesson.  This sheet includes questions to ask your child prompting a discussion about the lesson as well as some fun activities to do as a family to extend the lesson into your child’s life. 

Grades 1-5 also have a memory verse card each week.  We encourage you to help your child learn their weekly memory verses as it helps reinforce the lesson and teaches them the importance of instilling God’s Word in their hearts.  “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”  Psalm 119:11

Bible Bucks
Children in grades 1-5 may be sent home with Bible Bucks.  Bible Bucks are earned for knowing the memory verse, bringing a Bible to class, or bringing a visitor for the first time.  Bible Bucks may be exchanged in the Bible Bucks store for small prizes or gifts for family members around special holidays.
