Duane grew up in a Christian home, but it was in his teens that he began learning that he needed to develop a heart for God and the people God loves.  Duane immediately began to get involved in serving others through the church, and over the years has worked in many areas of church life.  He believes that being involved in a ministry is a unique privilege—it gives a person a chance to reach out and bless someone else, and God in turn reaches out and blesses the server.  Duane joined the staff at Canyon View two years ago after a career as a UPS driver.  He has been married for over 28 years and has three kids.
