Creative Arts Ministry

The Creative Arts Team develops the look, sound, and feel of the Canyon View Christian Fellowship experience.  This ministry exists to bring IMPACT within the church body as well as the community and world around us.  Areas of practical ministry include fine arts, set design, lighting, sound, multimedia, graphic design, web design, video, photography, journalism, writing, scripting, acting, dancing and more.

Whatever your experience level, there are opportunities waiting for you if you feel called to put your ideas and creativity to work serving the Lord—if you are called to make an IMPACT!

Luke Shearer - Creative Arts Director

Luke began shooting and editing videos when he was in high school.  At first it was just a cool thing to do, but his passion for creating artistic messages in film increased as pursued God.  He developed his skills as a director, producer, and editor for Time Warner Cable and later began his own corporate and commercial production company.  He began attending Canyon View in 2005.  He immediately felt connected to the people here and to the creative work he saw happening.  During that time, he felt called by God to use his skills for the Kingdom of God, but he had no idea what that looked like.  God is always faithful!  He was offered a job as the creative arts director for Canyon View.  He thanks God every day for the privilege of serving with this staff and his amazing volunteer team.  He is happily engaged to Dr. Susan Haydar and they plan to be married in October 2007.
