Canyon View will be taking a team of up to 35 people to Fiji to install “low-tech” water filters for people who don’t have clean drinking water. These low-cost filters, called “Bio Sand Filters”, are capable of filtering any dirty water source into clean drinking water. We plan on installing 200 of these filters on the big Island of Fiji. This trip will have the flavor of a global “Kindness Task Force” event. We’ll show God’s love in a very practical way…providing clean drinking water to families who don’t have it, all through the local church in Fiji.
 
Anyone interested in going on this trip must download the Mission Trip Application Form, fill it out, and turn it in to Pastor Darrel along with a $200 deposit. Each applicant will be required to interview with the Canyon View missions team before they can be accepted on the trip. Upon acceptance of your application, the deposit will be non-refundable. You must have a valid US Passport to go on the trip. This trip is open to adults only, age 18 and older.
 
Approximate cost: $2500 per person

August 8 - application deadline (with $200 deposit)
August 22 - $1000 due (cumulative $1200)
September 26 - $1000 due (cumulative $2200)
October 10 - $300 final payment due (cumulative $2500)

Immunization records are required to be submitted with your passport. Required shots are HepA, HepB and typhoid.
