Newbreak College Ministry

Newbreak meets every Sunday night at 6:30pm in the East Wing.

Newbreak exists to help college-age men and women…

• Grow spiritually, listening to God and following Him wherever He leads. 
• Develop authentic relationships and thereby create a support system for when times are rough.
• Find a place to belong.
• Discover and use their God-given gifts and talents
• Take hold of what God has for them.

Newbreak has men’s and women’s small groups as well as monthly activities and opportunities for outreach.  They go out after Saturday night’s service.

Ros Johnson

Ros made a decision to follow Christ after being invited to church as a high school senior.  For the first time in her life, she felt fully accepted and loved.  As a result, her desire over the years has been to encourage individuals who feel left out or who are struggling with feeling accepted by God.  She met and married her husband, Norm, and together they served their church as sound and light technicians.  Along the way, Ros led small groups and developed a heart for seeing college-age adults grow in their faith.  Norm and Ros have three children, all of whom are involved in Newbreak.
